Winter Guard

Winter Guard is an indoor color guard, competitive, performance-based activity which incorporates choreographed staging, dance, and manipulation of equipment such as flags, prop rifles, and sabers. Rehearsals begin in late November, with competitions beginning in February and lasting until early April. RV Winter Guard is a member of Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association and competes at a variety of RMCGA competitions during the season.

February 8 - Competition at Mountain Range High School - 12500 Huron St, Westminster, CO 80234

March 1 - Competition at Legacy High School - 2701 W 136th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023

March 29-30 - State Championships at the Denver Coliseum - 4600 Humboldt St, Denver, CO 80216

2025 Rehearsal Schedule

Tuesdays and Fridays: 6:00 to 9:00 pm from January 7th to March 28th
- Exceptions:
The week of Jan 20th: Monday, 1/20, 12:00 to 4:00 pm, and Wednesday, 1/22, 6:00 to 9:00 pm
The week of Feb 9th: Thursday, 2/13, 6:00 to 9:00 pm (instead of Friday 2/14)
The week of Mar 3rd: Monday, 3/3, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm ONLY
The week of Mar 10th: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 3/10 - 3/12, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm
