CBA Regional Competitions - 5A Metro Regional

The Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA) has five Regional State Qualifying Contests. Any band wanting to qualify for State Championships must participate in a Regional State Qualifying Contest. Ralston Valley will perform at the 5A Metro Regional at Douglas County High School (AdventHealth Castle Rock Stadium). Please note: The 5A Metro Regional is returning to Littleton High School this year! 

Scores for the Regional State Qualifying Contests will be posted on the CBA Marching Affairs website after each contest. Twenty bands in Class 5A will qualify for the State Championships based on Regional scores. 

Littleton Public Schools has instituted a clear bag policy. For further clarification on the clear bag policy, click here.

We will need parent drivers to help transport the band to and from Littleton High School. Please click HERE to volunteer to drive. All drivers must complete THIS FORM. We will also need the usual Pit/Props Volunteers, Uniform/Water Helpers, Hospitality Servers, and food donations for this event. Please click HERE to volunteer. 

TENTATIVE RV Competition Day Schedule:

Time TBD: Food donations arrive at RV

2:30 p.m.: Drivers transporting students arrive at RV

3:00 p.m.: Students leave RV

4:15 p.m.: Props/Pit Volunteers and Uniform/Water helpers arrive at Littleton HS

6:15 p.m.: Performance

6:30 p.m.: Hospitality Servers meet at the hospitality trailer immediately after the performance

~6:45 p.m.: Dinner

7:45 p.m.: Drum Major Retreat

~9:00 p.m.: Students arrive back at RV

~9:00 p.m.: Parents to pick up students at RV

Tickets are available for advance purchase through Zeffy. Tickets will also be available for sale at the gate. Cash and credit cards only. You can purchase advance tickets HERE.

Ticket pricing is as follows: 

Adults: $18

Children/Students (18 and younger): $13

Seniors (65+): $13

Children Age 5 and under: FREE

Per CBA Rules, pit crew and prop volunteers will be required to have a Field Pass wristband to enter the field and will be admitted to the FIELD ONLY. Pit crew and prop volunteers will not be admitted to the stands without a purchased attendance wristband.

Parking and Other Details:

• Spectator Parking will be in the Main Stadium Lot on the East side of campus and in the Wells Fargo parking lot on the southwest corner of Broadway and Powers Ave. Spectator vehicles should enter the Main LPS Stadium Lot from Littleton Blvd. traveling East from Broadway. There is NO parking available at the EPIC Campus on the south side of Littleton Blvd.

• NEW: LPS Stadium Clear Bag Policy - Clear bags only. No buckles, grommets, or metal decor that conceals any part of the bag. 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. Clutch with wrist or shoulder strap must be 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller.

• No Outside Food/Drink. Water is allowed; all containers must be factory sealed or empty.

• Cash and Credit card concessions are available at the Stadium.
