Colorado Gives Day is an annual, online giving event that raises money for Colorado nonprofits. While money can be donated to RVMB any time of the year, donations given on Colorado Gives Day result in extra dollars for our program through incentive funds and donation matching.
The Colorado Gives Foundation incentivizes donations in two ways. First, there is a $1M+ incentive fund that boosts the value of donations based on the percentage of the total funds raised by each nonprofit. Second, when you set up a new monthly donation, Colorado Gives Foundation will automatically match your first month’s gift up to $100. With $250K available in matching funds across all nonprofits, now is the perfect time to make your support go twice as far!
Colorado Gives Day is on December 9, 2025, but you can donate and benefit from the extra incentives anytime between November 1 and Colorado Gives Day, on December 9, 2025.
RVMB is aiming to raise $20,000 for the purchase of a new sound system. A good sound system is a critical part of every modern instrumental music program, and RV's is at the end of its life. We are seeking monetary donations to purchase new speakers, wireless microphones, a new sound cart for our mixing board, and related peripherals.
We’re soliciting donations through Colorado Gives, beginning in summer 2025, with the goal of purchasing the new sound system before the 2025 marching band competition season.
NOVEMBER UPDATE: We've raised enough money to buy new speakers and wireless microphones! Thank you to everyone who donated! We're still hoping to raise enough money to replace the rest of the sound system as soon as possible.
Our Hospitality co-chairs have created a Wish List on Amazon! Use the QR code to access our wish list, and help us feed our hungry students during the marching band competition season.
In 2024, we served:
350 breakfasts
425 lunches
340 dinners
150 snacks
Countless juice boxes!
These fundraisers raise money to support all RVMB programs. Please join us in supporting these hardworking instrumental students with much-needed funds!
