The 2nd Annual Fossil Ridge Marching Festival is an early-season competitive event that offers bands a performance opportunity and a chance to receive feedback from judges. The festival hosts up to 24 bands in a one-shot festival performance format. This is a Colorado Bandmasters Association-sanctioned festival and follows all CBA rules and guidelines. Each band receives scores and audio feedback in each caption, along with a video of their performance.
Heavy traffic is expected on the drive to PSD Stadium; please see the Important Notice in the Schedule section below. PSD stadium has a clear bag policy; please see details in the Parking and Other Information section below.

9:15 a.m.: Hospitality Servers arrive at RV
9:30 a.m.: Students arrive at RV
9:30 a.m.: Trailer Drivers arrive at RV
~9:45 a.m.: Breakfast served at RV
12:00 p.m.: Festival gates open
12:30 p.m.: Props/Pit Volunteers and Uniform/Water Helpers arrive at PSD Stadium
2:30 p.m.: Performance
~3:45 p.m.: Brown Bag Lunch/Dinner
5:15 p.m.: Drum Major Retreat/Awards
~7:00 p.m.: Students arrive back at RV (depending on traffic)
~7:15 p.m.: Parents to pick up students at RV (depending on traffic)
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the GoFan website/app. Tickets can also be purchased at the entry gate with cash, Venmo, or Credit Card (via GoFan). You can buy advance tickets for this event here.
Ticket pricing is as follows:
Adults: $17
Children/Students (18 and younger): $10
Seniors (65+): $10
Children Age 5 and under: FREE
Per CBA Rules, pit crew and prop volunteers will be required to have a Field Pass wristband to enter the field and will be admitted to the FIELD ONLY. Pit crew and prop volunteers will not be admitted to the stands without a purchased attendance wristband.
All spectator parking is located in the two large parking lots in front of the school building along Prospect Road. See the map below.
A limited number of handicap parking spaces are available to the west of the main spectator lot, directly to the south of the stadium. Please see the parking attendant upon arrival.
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to park, walk to the stadium, buy your ticket, enter the stadium, and be seated. Entrance to the festival is through the south gates of the stadium. Heavy traffic is expected due to other events in the area on the day of the competition.
As a courtesy to others, spectators are not allowed to enter the seating area during a band performance. Seating needs to take place in between performances.
Concessions are available. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.
