CBA Regional Competitions - 5A Metro Regional

The Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA) has five Regional State Qualifying Contests. Any band wanting to qualify for State Championships must participate in a Regional State Qualifying Contest. Ralston Valley will perform at the 5A Metro Regional at Douglas County High School (AdventHealth Castle Rock Stadium). Please note: The 5A Metro Regional is being held at a different location than in previous years. 

Scores for the Regional State Qualifying Contests will be posted on the CBA Marching Affairs website after each contest. Twenty bands in Class 5A will qualify for the State Championships based on Regional scores.

RV Competition Day Schedule:

8:15 a.m.: Food donations arrive at RV

(NEW TIME) 2:30 p.m: Drivers transporting students arrive at RV

3:00 p.m.: Students leave RV

4:30 p.m.: Props/Pit Volunteers and Uniform/Water helpers arrive at DCHS

6:15 p.m.: Performance

6:35 p.m: Hospitality Servers meet at the hospitality trailer immediately after the performance

~7:00 p.m.: Dinner

8:00 p.m.: Drum Major Retreat

~9:30 p.m.: Students arrive back at RV

~9:45 p.m.: Parents to pick up students at RV

Ticketing Information:

Tickets are available for advance purchase through Square. Tickets will also be available for sale at the North Gate and in LIMITED quantities at the South Gate. Credit cards are accepted. You can purchase advance tickets HERE. If you buy tickets in advance, please have your emailed receipt ready and proceed to the wristband table for pre-orders. This will help ensure quick confirmation and will help get your wristbands to you faster. 

Ticket pricing is as follows: 

Adults: $18

Children/Students (18 and younger): $13

Seniors (65+): $13

Children Age 5 and under: FREE

Per CBA Rules, pit crew and prop volunteers will be required to have a Field Pass wristband to enter the field and will be admitted to the FIELD ONLY. Pit crew and prop volunteers will not be admitted to the stands without a purchased attendance wristband.

• Spectator parking is located in the North Parking Lot. All parents, staff (not riding in the bus), and non-performing students must park in the North lot. Please DO NOT park in the lot at the LDS Church off Oakwood Drive.
